Hello,
Your are right, this part should have been removed since we added a complete explanation about our versioning :
What had really been a pain in the ass was the arrival of the DJI O4 Pro. To support the new camera, we had to modify the camera plates, which changed the position of the camera-plate standoffs. That’s why we specified in the changelog that both the camera plates and the TPU were updated (and also why we added the explanation about versioning) :
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but supporting the DJI O4 Pro was mandatory and we had no other choice. Trust me, we would have preferred to change nothing 😉
Since version 1.5.1, we have adopted the current camera plates, which are compatible with all cameras, including the O4 Pro.
@saturn_fpv To be a bit more precise, he can rely on the version number. Since the revision number has zero impact, he only needs to pay attention to the first two digits. Versions 1.5 and higher use the new O4 Pro compatible camera plates, while versions 1.4 and lower use the old O3 camera plates. (Of course, the latest 1.5 camera plates are also compatible with the O3 and all other cameras.)
